Glad my post helped.

I felt a bit let down when I found out OpenDNS had apparently changed the level of security they offer for free account users. From what I can gather, they still block phishing sites and botnets but not malware sites (for this it appears you now need their extremely expensive Enterprize account!)

In contrast DNS Advantage claims to block all these types of sites amongst other potential security risks. It looks like Comodo Secure DNS also offers the same service as it appears to use the same system of servers i.e. Neustar UltraDNS. Either of these now seem to be a better choice over OpenDNS in my view.

I've been using DNS Advantage for well over 6 months now and have never had a problem with it

If anyones interested here's a couple of tools to test/compare various DNS speeds :-
http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm
http://code.google.com/p/namebench/
I found these interesting to play with when choosing a DNS though of course I still based my decision on the level of security offered rather than all out speed.
