A disk checker to check physical conditions of SSD in PE mode of Win 10 home.
PC : Acer Aspire T3-715
OS : Windows 10 Home 64bit, 1909
What happened:
1. Around 60 days ago, I changed login password, local account, restarted and logged in with the new password, and use the PC for the whole morning, and shut it down at noon.
2. Several hours later, started the PC & entered the new password, "password incorrect' appeared. Tried again, the login was locked.
3. Tried at least a dozen of rescue APPs & methods. The results?
3a. Rescues from Microsoft, ended up in an opposite endings.
3b. Rescue method from the OEM, the same, ended in an opposite result.
3c. Many other rescues from Google search, either not run or ended in vain.
4. Then, Bob Omb's modified Win10PE.x64 exe was applied.
4a. Saved all my important files from drive C:, the SSD.
4b. Unlocked the password account by the Unlocker.
4c. Then restarted the PC to run a reinstall of the Win 10.
4d. Bang! BOD appeared right after the OEM's logo.
4e. Ran a check on the SSD & the result was "found no problem."
5. I want to make sure whether there is or not any bad sectors on the SSD.
Please recommend an APP that can be used safely in Win10PE.x64.
Thank you.
