To check details of the installed memory, there's a WMIC batch file available at
Sysnative, it's #24, "wmic memorychip". (72 files there in total.) I use the text file output versions.
#44 will "List Windows Updates/ Hotfixes", which might help you work out which ones you might need, this years updates are listed
