Out of curiosity I had a look for the specs on the Acer website too, and like you, I found it poor in comparison to other manufacturers support information.
Goes to show, it's worth checking a particular manufacturers support information when shopping for a new laptop/desktop/tablet etc., it may have an influence on your decision.
