I found something else interesting...
I went into the properties of the adapter I'm using for my net connection and checked up on the TCP/IP v4 and found it was using a DNS server number that I didn't assign. I switched it to automatically obtain DNS and it fixed my issue. If you don't have any of the programs installed that other threads seem to say it is, look at your v4 TCP/IP properties. If you don't remember assigning a DNS IP address, select the automatically obtain option and try again. It worked for me.
