Wallpaper of the Week: Colorful Autumn Leaves

toggle-button

This weeks wallpaper shows layered oak leaves in bright yellows, oranges and reddish golds. It's the perfect wallpaper for this time of year in a goodly part of the northern hemisphere, where Autumn/Fall/Harvest (take your pick) is in full swing, or for anyone who likes colorful leaves. :) Icons show up fairly well on this wallpaper, though the rich colors don't provide a lot of contrast.

In my case, I only can pick the "I like colorful leaves" option, rhiannon! X-D

Thank you, as usual! :-)

I'm happy you like it. There are so many places on the planet where there aren't leaves, and places that don't have trees that turn colors and fall off according to seasons that I couldn't leave them out. I'd rather live someplace where it's warm all the time but for now I live where there are four distinct seasons. :)

I have a lawn full of those, and they're maple leaves, not oak. That's what is on the Canadian flag.

I believe they are maple leaves myself, but the person who took the image and posted the wallpaper called them oak leaves.  Since it's their wallpaper, I kept their title. :)
