Wallpaper of the Week: Atlantis Labyrinth Nebula

toggle-button

This weeks wallpaper is a digital illustration of a nebula. In this image, masses of blue tinted clouds billow and swirl. Some areas are sculpted with light, some areas are dense and dark, while here and there the bright points of stars are visible. This image looks much better on the screen than it does here, so give it a try, especially if you like dark backgrounds. Icons really pop against this wallpaper. At the moment I'm enjoying a similar background (from a different site) by the same artist.

Thanks - I appreciate this enhancement. I don't normally use backgrounds, but this has changed my view....

Ah, I've managed to bring yet another soul over the dark side. :-) I'm happy to hear you like it. It's a good background for people who don't use wallpaper much, or at all (which, I hasten to add, is perfectly fine). I think it's easy on the eyes and has enough detail to make the background interesting without being intrusive. The other wallpaper I mention is darker, with fewer details, has fewer bright areas and adds small touch of color.
