The Ultimate Tweak Tool For Every Website You Visit

StylebotHave you ever visited a web site and thought to yourself "I wish this particular bit of the page didn't exist"? For example, the panel that shows the adverts, or the link to a part of the site that you never visit, or the header video that takes up loads of your internet bandwidth?

Or have you ever visited a web site and had difficulty reading it because the font was too small, or the wrong colour?

If so, would you like an easy way of customising your web browser to make those changes? Then I have some good news for you, if you use Chrome as your browser.

Head to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylebot/oiaejidbmkiecgbjeifoe... and install an add-on called Stylebot. Once installed, go to the page that you want to change, and click the small "css" button that should now have been added to your browser. Then choose Open Stylebot. Now move your mouse around the screen and notice that, as you do so, each element of the page is highlighted with a green box. When you find the one that you want to change, click the relevant button on the Stylebot panel.

And that's it! Your changes will automatically be saved and will take effect whenever you visit that page or site in the future.

Stylebot is free, and according to my PC's security software it is free of all malware too.

Are the changes persistent?

Quote from the text:

Assume it relies on cookies- so no purge of these possible?

An addon like this for Firefox would be good!

Agreed!
