You've probably heard about all the privacy-invading features in Windows 10. Microsoft calls it telemetry, designed to enable them to make Windows better. And it probably does that. But it comes at the expense of users' privacy, because lots of information about how you use your PC gets sent directly to Microsoft, and it's hard to stop this from happening.
Although there are options to allow either full or partial telemetry, even the partial option still sends quite a lot of data.
There are some handy tools available for download which allow you to tweak these telemetry settings, as well as other parts of Windows 10. One tool that I came across recently goes by the excellent name of ShutUp 10. You'll find it at https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 and it's a download of less than 1 MB. The program is free, and is portable too, so there's nothing to install. Just download the file and run it, and you can start tweaking. When you're done, either keep the download to use again, or delete it.
ShutUp10 is malware-free according to VirusTotal, and its download site is rated as reputable by Web of Trust.
