Our Review:

Opcion Font Viewer is a good option if you need a basic viewer that is Java based and works across platforms including Linux, Windows and Mac OS X, with the Java Runtime Environment installed.

It provides a preview list for your installed and uninstalled fonts in different views and allows you to create favorite groups. Clicking on fonts you like in the list view adds fonts to a favourite list, which can be saved for reference.

In the preview list, choosing a font to view from the list is pretty straightforward. You can also set the font size and the number of fonts to view per page.
