The notices were created as a result of privacy laws and inform users about what type of cookies websites use and how they are used.
There are two easy ways to make those cookie consent notices disappear. One is a browser add-on for Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Pale Moon.
The other is a list that's added to browser adblockers such as Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin.
Adblockers make use of lists to block ads and other nuisances such as bitcoin miners (we here at Gizmo's would love to be added to your whitelist, since ad revenue keeps this volunteer-run website up and running).
The browser add-on is called "I don't care about cookies" and you can find the link to install the add-on/extension for Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Pale Moon at their home page:
I don't care about cookies
The Adblock filter subscription (list) is called Prebake.
More information and directions can be found at their site, but here are directions to add the list to your adblocker:
Directions for uBlock Origin:
Go to options->3rd party filter and activate
"EU: Prebake - Filter Obtrusive Cookie Notices".
Directions for Adblock Plus (the link also adds the list to uBlock Origin):
Click on this link: Subscribe
For all other ad blockers:
Add this link to the filters list:
