The complete list of every service, app, or device Google has shuttered or will be shutting down.
Part guillotine, part graveyard for Google's doomed products, services, devices, and brands, Google Graveyard lists everything Google has killed off over the years. The developer who created it keeps the list updated, displaying a tombstone for dead products, apps or hardware and a guillotine for the ones on the chopping block. There's a brief description of each item, the years it was active, and a link in the title for more information about the service, app or device. There's a search function if you want to find a certain item quickly.
At the moment, there are 154 deceased apps, services and hardware listed. Google+ and Inbox by Gmail will be shut down in the next 24 hours. Inbox is being missed by many, while some of us lament the loss of services we used to use. Google may have killed off Picasa in 2015 but people still use it. Google Reader closing provoked a loud protest from many of us.
The developer writes that "Killed by Google is a Free and Open Source list of dead Google products, services, and devices. It serves to be a tribute and memorial of beloved products and services killed by Google". The project is ongoing and open source, if you know of an obituary that's not listed, head over to the projects GitHub.
