Finds of the Week: Chat with Microsoft Support / Download Videos on Facebook / Chrome Offline Installers / Best of Cassini

Finds of the WeekFinds of the Week is a list of web sites I've come across lately that are interesting, fun, or useful (or all three). I hope you enjoy them. -Rhiannon

Chat With Microsoft Support Agent Online
Microsoft has an online support team to help out with Microsoft products that's accessible through online chat. Here's how to chat up a Microsoft online support agent from your browser, no downloads, no phone calls with long wait times, and nothing to install. The direct link to the chat support page is here: It's always a good idea to do a search for whatever issue you're experiencing before contacting support - that applies to any program or app your having an issue with, not just Microsoft. Helpful step by step details are in the article (note: site contains auto-play advertisements and various ads in the article itself that look like they could be part of the article but aren't).

How can I download a video posted on Facebook?
If you've been stymied on how to download a video you've seen on Facebook, here are directions on how to get the video URL and a site that creates a download link for Facebook videos. It worked on the videos from Facebook that I tested, but your mileage may vary. :)

Download Offline Installers for Google Chrome Browser (Windows, Mac and Linux)
When you download Google Chrome (and many other browsers and software these days) what you download is a small file that initiates the download of the program itself. If you'd like to download and install Google Chrome later, or on more than one computer, it makes sense to grab the whole program at once (the stand alone or offline version). Here are links to download the whole Google Chrome program for Windows, Mac and LInux. Note that the Windows version has an "Install Chrome offline" section under the main heading, use the link there that says "alternate Chrome installer".
If you're wondering if you can do the same with Firefox, here's a link to all the versions and languages: Download Firefox (all languages and platforms)

The Best of Cassini
NASA’s Cassini spacecraft will end its mission in September after its long exploration orbiting Saturn, collecting information on the planet, its moons, its rings, and more. Here are 40 stunning photos from The Atlantic that show off the best Cassini has to offer. Want more Cassini photos? Check out these images from Popular Science: 52 of Cassini's most beautiful postcards from the outer solar system (note that this site contains auto-play advertisements, and the one I viewed had no stop button, you had to listen and watch. Normally I don't see these ads because I use an ad blocker, but I view the sites I feature in a browser with no ad blockers, add-ons or extensions before I include them). There is minimal overlap between the images that I could see. Now if they would just make all those images available as wallpaper...  :)
