Fancy An Interactive Tour of Abbey Road Studios?

Abbey Road Studios, in London, describes itself as probably the most famous recording studios in the world.  And with everyone from the Beatles to Adele having recorded tracks there, they are probably right.  The pedestrian crossing outside the studios, featured on the cover of the Beatles' Abbey Road album, is still visited and photographed by hundreds of people every day, as you can observe from the webcam at http://www.abbeyroad.com/crossing which shows countless people holding up the traffic to take their own picture.

Now, Google and Abbey Road Studios have put together a virtual tour of the studios.  Think of it as Streetview for Buildings, but with extras.  Try your hand at driving the mixing desk, for example, to produce the perfect blend of instruments.

If you've got a PC with decent speakers (or headphones), the only other thing you need is a web browser.  Head to https://insideabbeyroad.withgoogle.com/en and try it.
