Our Review:

Cube is an open-source single-player and multi-player first-person-shooter (FPS) game that provides satisfying and fast old school gameplay.

It is a landscape-style engine that pretends to be an indoor FPS engine, which combines very high precision dynamic occlusion culling with a form of geometric mip-mapping on the whole world.

fernLightning showcases some of the best looking graphics on a portable device. Not only that, but it is genuinely a good game, in that you can play it as a single-player FPS or play with friends. For me, this would be amazing if not for the controls: they really are abysmal.

This is an iPhone port of the desktop version of the game and it's a great step for iOS gaming. Unfortunately we have yet to wait for an Android port of this game.
