BBC Earth is offering six 10-hour “visual soundscapes” from nature to relax and unwind.
Immerse yourself in some of the most stunning landscapes on Earth combined with accompanying sounds from nature.
Each 10 hour visual soundscape is a combination of natural sounds and stunning video from the BBC Planet Earth II series, melded into a 10 hour treat for the eyes and ears.
According to a study from BBC Earth and the University of California, watching content from Planet Earth II “inspired significant increases in feelings of awe, contentedness, joy, amusement and curiosity, and it also acted to reduce feelings of tiredness, anger and stress”.
I haven't listened to these the whole way through. It's likely that the sound would be looped after a certain amount of time for such a long length video.
The six soundscapes are jungle, island, desert, mountain, grassland, and city.
All footage used was filmed by the Planet Earth II camera teams while out on location.
