I love software that helps me stay organized. Especially outliners. I really do love a good outliner program, especially if it works nicely with Dropbox and OneDrive so that I can work on my files from any computer.
A couple of weeks ago I discovered a really nice outliner called WhizFolders. Yes, I know the name is confusing. It's nothing to do with folders or directories, but is simply a very good outliner. Use it to plan or organize just about anything, from projects to novels to parties to household budgets.
WhizFolders is a commercial product and costs $29.95 for a licence that lets you use it on up to 3 computers. But because I liked the program so much I got in touch with the author and have managed to get 10 free licences to give away to lucky Gizmo's Freeware readers.
Try WhizFolders for yourself. Download the 30-day trial from www.whizfolders.com. It's an 18 MB file, works just fine on Windows 10, and the site is reputable according to Web of Trust. There is (as is becoming annoyingly common) one trigger on VirusTotal, but the author of the program assures me that it's a false alarm and I have no doubt that this is indeed true.
If you like the trial version, drop me an email to email@example.com and I'll enter your name in the draw for a free licence. PLEASE include the word whizfolders somewhere in the subject line or your entry won't be counted.
As always, Mallory the emu will pick the winners in a week from now.
So head to www.whizfolders.com and try your luck.
