Items should consist of at least two paragraphs.

The first should be a "teaser" paragraph. This paragraph will be automatically published in our RSS feed. It should state the nature of the find and the benefits without mentioning the product name or providing a product link. For example:

"For months I've been looking for a good way of deleting 'undeletable' files. Finally I've discovered a free utility that does the job reliably and simply."

The second paragraph should at the very least, expand the benefits, name the product and provide a product link. For example:

"Unlocker is a tiny 230KB utility that works with Windows 2000 and XP. Vista users are out of luck. Just right click on the 'undeletable file', select 'Delete with Unlocker' from the context menu and next time you boot the file will be gone for good."

You can have a third paragraph if you wish; indeed as many as you like. However there must at least be a second paragraph after the opening "teaser" paragraph.

Windows and Mac users can take some time and tedium out of computing using these tips.

It's the little things that make using a computer easier and faster. Things that make using the internet easier, such as typing only the name of the site you want to go in your browser (no www.). If the address uses .com, hitting Ctrl + Enter on your keyboard will automatically add the .com and take you to the site. If a web address ends in .net, hit Shift + Enter, the .net will automatically be added and off you'll go to the site.

SSD is (in this case) an abbreviation for Solid State Drive, a technology that has been under development and has been making its way into the consumer arena recently. Along with how to erase drives the article has software suggestions, with a section on utilities for certain brands of hard drives; Hitachi, Samsung, Seagate (including Maxtor) and Western Digital.

This set of colorful mouse cursors makes your mouse pointer easier to see.

These awesome mouse cursors are color coded and change color depending on what activity the mouse is being used for, such as clicking a link, scrolling, or resizing windows.
I've been using them for several years (and several versions of Windows) and I install them on all my computers. I can find them anywhere on the screen and they are a pleasure to use.
These great cursors are compatible with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.

There's a wide variety of freeware for your Mac OS X to choose from at this site.

If you own a Mac or know someone who does, this is a great list of free programs.
Several of the programs listed are cross platform applications, meaning that they'll run on Macs, Linux and Windows. OpenOffice, IBM Lotus Symphony, GIMP, Inkscape, Jing are a few of the cross platform programs.
Some programs have a web appilcation in addition to a downloadable application, like Yoono.
