This category is reserved for finds by our Editor Rhiannon Dent.

Items should consist of at least two paragraphs.

The first should be a "teaser" paragraph. This paragraph will be automatically published in our RSS feed. It should state the nature of the find and the benefits without mentioning the product name or providing a product link. For example:

"For months I've been looking for a good way of deleting 'undeletable' files. Finally I've discovered a free utility that does the job reliably and simply."

The second paragraph should at the very least, expand the benefits, name the product and provide a product link. For example:

"Unlocker is a tiny 230KB utility that works with Windows 2000 and XP. Vista users are out of luck. Just right click on the 'undeletable file', select 'Delete with Unlocker' from the context menu and next time you boot the file will be gone for good."

You can have a third paragraph if you wish; indeed as many as you like. However there must at least be a second paragraph after the opening "teaser" paragraph.

The Most Awe-Inspiring Space Pictures of 2015 from National Geographic

Image of Solar Flares on the Sun

National Geographic has put together a gallery of space photos from the past year. They say "Of the hundreds of awe-inspiring space photos we liked in 2015, here are our picks for the 15 best of the year." For those of us on limited bandwidths, having a small amount of terrific photos to scroll through is refreshing.
The images aren't large enough to use on desktop monitors as wallpaper but smaller devices would work fine.

Wallpaper of the Week: Radiant Morning Sun

This weeks wallpaper shows the morning sun pouring down from just above a bank of clouds, shining through a tree in a meadow. The rays of the sun peeking through the tree are distinct, making for a striking image. The light on a background of trees and in the meadow is luminous from what appears to be ground fog.
Edges are soft, with yellows, golds and browns dominating. Icons show up quite well with this background.

Wallpaper of the Week: Winter Pond Sunset Reflections

This weeks wallpaper is a bit of a contrast; a pond of water, surrounded by snow, trees and hills, reflecting the warm colors of sunset, pinks, purples, and oranges. The trees and sunset are reflecting in the water of pond, which has not yet frozen. Overall, this isn't a bright background, so icons show up nicely.
