This category is reserved for finds by our Editor Rhiannon Dent.

Items should consist of at least two paragraphs.

The first should be a "teaser" paragraph. This paragraph will be automatically published in our RSS feed. It should state the nature of the find and the benefits without mentioning the product name or providing a product link. For example:

"For months I've been looking for a good way of deleting 'undeletable' files. Finally I've discovered a free utility that does the job reliably and simply."

The second paragraph should at the very least, expand the benefits, name the product and provide a product link. For example:

"Unlocker is a tiny 230KB utility that works with Windows 2000 and XP. Vista users are out of luck. Just right click on the 'undeletable file', select 'Delete with Unlocker' from the context menu and next time you boot the file will be gone for good."

You can have a third paragraph if you wish; indeed as many as you like. However there must at least be a second paragraph after the opening "teaser" paragraph.

Wallpaper of the Week: Foggy Forest Sunrise

This weeks wallpaper is an image of a hillside full of evergreens with fog flowing and billowing around the trees. The fog is white at the bottom and shades toward muted early sunrise colors of purple tinged gray and mauve at the top. Some areas of evergreen trees are in sharp definition and contrast  with the mistier, less defined dark green trees. Icons show well on this background overall, with a bit less visibility in the lighter areas.

Play Klondike Solitaire in Your Browser Full Screen at This Great Site

Solitaire Online site

Play Klondike or Double Klondike Solitaire full screen with no distractions at this great site.

This Klondike Solitaire site is one of the nicer ones I've seen. It looks great, is customizable and can be played distraction free in full screen mode.
In addition to the full screen option there are several other features that make the site a pleasure to use. The site is ad supported, though the only ads I saw appeared in the Select Game window.

Wallpaper of the Week: Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan

This weeks wallpaper is an image of Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan, USA just before rain settles in. Rising mist on Lake Michigan and lowering storm clouds over the area create an image with many subtle shades of blue. The photographer states the rain started shortly after the shot was taken. This is a soft background with mostly clouds and water. The dunes are off to the right and provide mass and sharper definition. There's a nice balance of sea, sky and shore in this soothing background. Icons show up nicely on this wallpaper.

Wallpaper of the Week: Horizon: Blue Sky Over a Green & Gold Hill

This weeks wallpaper shows a hill with horizontal rows of grass and flowers under a brilliant blue sky. Five tall trees add punctuation to the skyline. The horizontal rows of yellow flowers, warm earth and and green grass form a sharp counterpoint to the blue sky. The vertical trees nicely balance the colorful horizontal elements. Icons are visible but somewhat faded due to the colors in this bright background. This background is reminiscent of the grassy hill wallpaper that appeared in Windows 7 but with pops of color and a handful of trees.
