sunbelt free firewall

The real problem is nonremoval of a previously installed firewall in full.

You are right, as usual. I have tried every other free firewall , and to me

Sunbelt is the best.

But what to do when HIPS  protection  will be withdrawn? Does one

have  anything to suggest?

p.s  I had installed Threatfire but removed it as its operation was hindered by Sunbelt.

Hi,
Threatfire is a great, great programme especially in it's new version but unfortunately causes conflicts with other firewalls too - notably Comodo. I know it's often difficult to move away from something you like but if you haven't yet, please try NetVeda as this in my opinion offers several advantages over Sunbelt, (without the HIPS) and it will run happily with Threatfire. I use this combination alongside Avast 4.8, BO Clean and Comodo Memory Firewall and have no issues at all. I also have a couple of passive spyware/malware scanners but these aren't relevant to the topic. Hope this helps.
