Running Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall in "Simple" mode

Is there any point to running Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall in "Simple" mode rather than just sticking with the built in Windows XP Firewall?

My understanding is that the big gripe against the Windows XP Firewall is that it's only "one-way" and that it only filters incoming network traffic while not touching outgoing network traffic.  My understanding is also that when Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall runs in "Simple" mode it too only filters incoming network traffic and allows all outgoing network traffic.  It that's the case, is there any point to running Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall in "Simple" mode rather than just sticking with the built in Windows XP Firewall?
