Copy file and place it in a timestampled folder

i have a truecrypt container called 600 (i named it after it's file size in MB).

it is placed in a folder called

D:\600mb_2008-05-06\

i want to back it up by copying and pasting it into a new folder named by today's date and time.

D:\2008-05-23-1115\

For just one file you are better off just creating and naming the folder manually.

If you want to do this regularly many backup programs automatically date stamp backups. See here:
