This site needs a logo and I'd really like your opinion
Check out the logos below that have already been suggested and leave a comment on which one you like most. If you don't like any, please say so.
Maybe you can come up with a design of your own.
Nothing is yet decided so please send in your design to me at editor@techsupportalert.com and if I like it I'll put it up on this page.
What we are looking for
- A logo that keys in to "Gizmo" (and optionally "freeware")
- We want a logo that can be used on this site and as an the basis for an award graphic for software recommended by this site

The winner will receive full credit. If the winner is a commercial graphics company that's fine, your organization will be fully credited.

Logo 2 will do for me.. Gizmo's is definitely my No 1 reference site for information and recommendations on my PC necessities. xx
To be honest, I like number 10 first, plain and simple and very nicely done, but I also like number 14.

I like number 13, it has the full name, the website name ( I will add ".com") and it looks good. It will clearly be different from another thillion logos. This uniqueness will be for everybody, not just for the people who know what and who Gizmo's is.

1 and 5 look like the Gamecube logo (as many have pointed out). Again, as many have said, 8 has mascot potential.
I'd say stay with nr. 4 - simple, stylish, modern, catches the eye. Gizmo gives it the thumbs up - what more needs to be said?
i like design 8. it gives the tech part also in the logo.
I like a lot of these, but I think 13 is really good. I like how it uses the word "tech". To someone just passing by, they will already know a bit of what the site is about. I'm not so sure about the use of the word "alert" though--although I know it is the name of the site. Maybe just, "tech alert" or "tech support"--not sure! But 13 is great.
I agree 13 is great. Tells what and who. Clean and mod.

TEN is THE CHOICE to go.
It's modern, catchy, small and thus quickly recognizable, and even intelligent as compared to other logos.
I disagree. 10 is trying too hard to be clever. It's just confusing and doesnt give a clue to what the site is actually about.
East or west 8 is the best. here it doesn't matter of childish or rubbish logos. every one is attracted to the look of a product. in that sense 8 is the best.

Definitely EIGHT (8) is the BEST. Modern and appealing to the eye.
Could you explain why you think 8 looks "modern", and why "modernity" is desirable?
Would you not agree that 8 looks rather childish?
