Logo Contest

Vote for Your Favorite!   (Updated May 21 with eight newly subsmitted designs)

This site needs a logo and I'd really like your opinion

Check out the logos below that have already been suggested and leave a comment on which one you like most. If you don't like any, please say so.

Maybe you can come up with a design of your own.

Nothing is yet decided so please send in your design to me at editor@techsupportalert.com and if I like it I'll put it up on this page.

What we are looking for

  • A logo that keys in to "Gizmo"  (and optionally "freeware")
  • We want a logo that can be used on this site and as an the basis for an award graphic for software recommended by this site

So put on your thinking cap and send those ideas in.

The winner will receive full credit. If the winner is a commercial graphics company that's fine, your organization will be fully credited.

Send all suggestion to Gizmo editor@techsupportalert.com

No. 8 is great!

It would be AWESOME if you combined #11 and #13

#13's main design with #11 as the G in gizmo.

That would relate to everything

Gizmo, freeware, and tech support alerts!

YAY!

there all good

there all good

# 1

i like 4 though it looks kinda like "globe gcash" logo. i choose 5.

No. 5 is fine. You can place it as much as you like. You can use No. 13 for site logo. It looks fit

Definitely # 11. The gear shape itself is suggestive of a gizmo; the "G" is smart and snappy and matches the gear. I like it.

!4 - it stands out, for what the intention of the site is.

11 - I like the simplicity of.

I'd have suggested something conceptually aboout an 'elephant stamp', but I can already hear the howls of outrage from the GOP mob, so maybe best not to.

still cant see num 2

Not 1 or 5 unless you want Nintendo on your back... My favs are 7a, 8 and 14.

8 or 9 are good

13 would do

8 is the best!

Number 3 is too close to the new Google logo. Number 5 feels like it's also copied from somwhere, but I can't place it...

My favourite is either 8 or 11.

That is funny, because that's actually what the "logo" already is for this site. See up in the top left corner! Look familiar?

13 is it man

I think that #14 looks good. It looks clean and professional.

14 does the job!

7 or 13 for me (if you drop the meaningless 'tech support alert' tag-line)

number 8's a monster's inc rip-off. crap film. crap logo.

I like 8 and 13

8 is chic enuf...

11, to me. Retro maybe but it represents the name.

I think 8 is the best new logo.

number 8 it is

me gusta el número 8

I dislike the new look of the site.

4 as an icon, add "izmo" for a logo

I'd say 14, thought the bottom line of it is hard to see and yes 5 is a blatant rip off of gamecube so avoid!

#14 is still the best

I Like 14

8 is a great Site Logo (Maybe bit more contrast in the first 4 letters ). Combine logo 8 with the background star of 14 and that would make a greatSite Award.

I like #12

9's the one for me

13

14

I like #8

#5 is a rip off from nintendo's gamecube. the rest is crap, but at least no rip offs.

11 is nice if added izmo

Tough choice between 13 and 14.

I like # 5.

I like number four, but dress it up with the IZMO on the letter G straight line center. pblodgett@
