Thanks Emil, SUMo had informed me of the update this morning, but I could not find it. I see it is on the site now.

Have you been having any problems connecting to the Update Notifier server recently? I have often had connection problems.

Lately I am not using Update Notifier because it has some problems. Actually I am using Update Checker and filehippo.com is more professional website but of course Update Checker is not perfect too.

Yes, it has been a while Clearly our PhDs are keeping us too busy!

UDN has been giving me a few connection problems recently, but it seems to be ok again. Will keep an eye on it. If it continues I may have to drop their ranking/rating.

This is because filehippo, include in his database only a few softwares. Use Filerex Update Checker from Filerex.com for better results.

Moderator's Note: Please be aware that filerex[dot]com does not offer totally free software. Much of the software there is trialware or shareware. Filerex Update Checker, however, does appear to be freeware.

The new version shown for Skype in the screenshot is a beta version. I think beta versions should be mentioned clearly. The installed version is the stable one in this case.
