Free zip software download.

I use to have a free WinZip Software on my old computer system. It was a WinZip trial version that never expired. However, after changing my computer to a new system, I downloaded a Winzip free trial. Unfortunately this time, the trial version expired and keeps prompting me to purchase the software.

At this time I need a zip and file compression software urgently to enable me unzip some file.

I noticed that some of the online FREE download sites spread malware.

Please I need your honest and expert recommendation on the best freeware/Zip software out there.

I would recommend 7-zip, which is the top choice on the article too. Although others mentioned are good too. The software and links provided are totally malware free, and safe sites .
