Default active@HD monitor??

This is the top pick in the disk health section here http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...ng-utility.htm

I downloaded the diskmonitor.exe file to virustotal and jotti and both came back with 2 hits as a virus? Anyone know anything about this? I am assuming this is probably FP. Virusbuster was one that came back with a hit. I uninstalled just to be sure. Could someon contact the editor of that section to confirm any of this? Thanks

It's very likely to be a false positive.
Here's what Anubis and ThreatExpert reports:

I've contacted the editor concerned for this category and will report back once I've had a response.

I am the new editor of the Best Free Disk Health Monitoring Utility category and I have yet to review it, so I don't have any information to share. I plan to finish another category soon and I will then have time to start this one.

I've now sent an email direct to the vendor and will post their response when received.

i Just spoke with a gentleman on the phone for about 15 minutes about this. He said they have had this happen before. I had to explain to him what Virustotal was. I told him to upload the diskmonitor.exe file and then contact the 2 vendors who flag this file as dangerous to get this resolved if it is indeed a false positive. Did you ever get a reply to your email MC?

Er - no is the short answer! I'm still guessing this might be OK but sometimes in this game, guessing isn't good enough. Wouldn't have hurt them to reply.
Sorry I can't be any more help but if they won't talk to me there's no where else to go

No problem. I had called the phone number they gave on their website and waited on hold for about 15 min. It was a little strange that I had to explain how virustotal worked, but I'm guessing this is a FP. However, I wont be installing anytime soon

After speaking with a rep a few days ago, I uploaded the diskmonitor.exe file to virustotal again last night. Now Mcafee flags it with "Artemis". Not too familiar with Mcafee, so I'm not sure what this means. Virusbuster still flags it as well.
