Default PowrTaskr

PowrTaskr is a tiny portable program allows you to access Google Tasks much faster, straight from your Windows desktop.

Looks very interesting. However, I'm not familiar with Google Tasks. Can you tell us more?

Google Tasks is Google's own "to-do list" cloud-based app
implementation. Most users first find out about it through Gmail.
I find it extremely helpful for procrastinators (such as myself!).

Of course, there are many other "to-do list" solutions out there, such
as Wunderlist or Rememberthemilk (both full of nice features), but
Google Tasks has many fans due to its very simplicity and its great
support for smartphones.

Now, it still feels like a web-based app, meaning the UI loads and
displays much slower than a native app UI, which is particularly
annoying for a to-do list. PowrTaskr attempts to address that issue.

I currently use Wunderlist. It's nice because I can sync my home computer, my work computer, my Android phone, and my iPad. How does Google Tasks compare to this functionality?

I know there's a number of 3rd-party iPhone & Android apps that are based on Google Tasks,
although I don't have direct experience with them. But I do use is Google Tasks on 2 different PCs *and* my BlackBerry (directly accessing the mobile URL) and it's been a breeze to use.

But I guess it's a matter of preferences and requirements, which vary from one user to the other.
