Default KAR Energy Software

Hi,

KAR Energy Software is a software which drastically reduces the power consumption of your computer (or laptop) in 3 different ways:

CPU cooling

By reducing the frequency of the processor

By putting the computer into standby

Thus, through KAR Energy Software you save money when you use your computer.

You can download it for free: http://www.iaindustrie.fr/energy-saver-software/

I've seen this post before http://forums.techarena.in/windows-software/1429991.htm

I looked at KAR but didn't use it because I had to buy the paid version to get anything that would be useful. See the version comparison:
http://www.iaindustrie.fr/energy-sav.../download.html

The free version only has
CPU frequency management - my CPU speed is automatically adjusted based on load
CPU cooling - my fan speed is also adjusted
Put PC/Screen into Standby - Windows does that.

I would have had to pay for the features that could be more useful like "RAM acceleration" (I wasn't able to work out what it really does) and variable screen brightness.

I disagree with you, I saw this software on the TV before I tried it and it's the best thing I have on my laptop.

My PC doesn't cool my cpu, and I don't think that your fan speed ajust it autimaticaly by putting it on MAX. I made some research about this function using AIDA32 and I saw that the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface is activated. That's why the battery life of my pc is extended and my fan is not turning much.

I also asked the autor why he put PC/Standby on KAR (what windows actualy does) and he answered me that KAR put the pc in standby even if Adobe Flash and Adobe Reader is runing. I also saw on Windows 7 the bug that it had because some process are activated that the PC doesn't go into standby.

[edit] Promotion of commercial feature removed.
