Default First ever post, with some burning software reccomendations?

Hey folks.

First of all, this is an excellent site, Ive known about it for a few months now and have found it immensely useful!

I looked through the CD/DVD Burner list and noticed that InfraRecorder wasnt mentioned, in my opinion it is well worth a mention, I found it vie the freeware tools listed on LiberKey after trying to find a more resource friendly app than Nero. I was cleaning up my Laptop to free up some space and found that Nero 8was taking up 989MB of Hard Disc Space and that was after I did a customised install to not include Nero Home, Scout and all of the other apps that have nothing to do with Burning.

I currently run the following in place of nero:

InfraRecorder Latest version: 0.46.2
AnytoISO version 2.2
UndercoverXP

All of these together (along with MagicISO and ImgBurn, which are already mentioned on here) take care of all my disc image and burning needs. Just thought id share my views with you people. And the whole collection of freeware tools I listed take up less than 50MB of HD Space, unlike the seriously bloated Nero taking up 989MB.

Thanks for your time, and with it being my first post apologies if any rules were mistakenly broken.

Yours,
Beev

We don't permit direct download links, especially to executables. But your post is very welcome, & I'm sure someone will fix them for you.

It's ok to link, just not directly to exe files. It's mainly for safety (a malicious user could introduce malware) but also to let people select OS etc.
