I don't see any mention of Pinta, except in the section on Linux. I understand that this program is modelled after Paint.NET and it works on Windows and Mac as well as Linux. I like Paint.NET and have now downloaded Pinta. I haven't had a chance to give it a go yet, but wonder if other forum members have tried it and whether Gizmo intends to give it a review soon.

I have been using Pinta on Linux for a while now it works pretty well. I picked it up because I wanted an alternative to Gimp which is a little heavy.
As for why it has not been listed on the site for Windows, is mainly because it has been in beta. It just reached its 1.0 release in the last week or two I believe. Also there are so many similar options available on Windows it kind of gets lost in the mix. It definitely is very welcome in Linux where there are fewer options.
