Default Intruder

Has anyone tried Intruder, which is a network intrusion detector.

You can find it at this site http://baraka.ca/intru_vulg.asp

Please email me to let me know if this is a good program and if it is safe
to use

Default Out in the open

We come here to share information; not much point if it all goes via private email.

Default Untangle UTM

The Untangle UTM (www.untangle.com/ )would represent a better solution, a Linux based UTM ( Unifed Threat Management) , has capabilities for Anti-Virus, Anti-SPAM , Firewall, Site Blocking etc. Full reporting and is totally open source, as usual 2 falvours one Free and unsupported and a subscription fully supported solution. Requires a PC with 1 Gb RAM and around 40Gb diskspace and, of course, 2 x NIC, Highly Recommend. Installation to bare metal is around 15-25 minutes and configuration in Bridge mode is a breeze...
