Wink

well i had to uninstall the onscreen nag just got to me in the end, then when i uninstalled it the program remained and started up every time i had to do a system restore to get rid of it. Im happy with my boot time as it is, like i said i wasnt looking for anything to speed up my computer i was just interested to see if it works. Not all that good to me but it MAY be usefull to someone who's time is 6mins.

It doesn't matter on boot time if its loading something your going to use all the time, no point in loading programs that you are not using.

just woundering now, For windows XP what is the fastest startup time that someone has, without using a virtual PC and from complete shutdown to startup not hirbernation. i mean 1:24 or even 1:16 is a good startup time but there has to be better.

Can I use this when people complain about slow startups?

Do not worry because your problem with a slow Windows startup can be easily taken cared of by doing simple changes on your computer. For instance, you can add more RAM. This is the simplest and fastest way you can do. Oftentimes, computers become slow because they lack memory. So, adding more RAM to your computer may solve your problem. You can also get a good registry cleaner. You can download one online. Cleaning up your registry is a good way to remove broken or corrupted files that may have caused the slowness of your computer.

This application should be for absolute beginners I think, or people that is not to sure what they are doing.

I myself prefer to things manually...
