Default Itz Browser.

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Itz Beta 2.0 yet. It's URL is http://www3.telus.net/public/elaur/IR%20BASIC/itz.html

Tell me what you think.

Just to elaborate more. The browser is in beta... so that means it may be unstable. People who want to try it out should keep that in mind. Software in beta stages are not meant for general use.

The above mentioned Itz Browser will run only on Vista and Windows 7, not on XP. Requires .NET 4.0.

The browser it self works with Windows XP (I've tried it), but there are some other softwares in the package that does not work (The HTML editor and Launcher). EHQ intends to make it work on all versions of Windows. It is fairly stable, and does not really have any problems.

The System Requirements on the product page in the above link, states that the browser is meant only for Vista and Windows 7. If the product works on XP, it should be duly reflected on the product page. I would not recommend people to try it on their XP systems, and that too product being in beta, in case it causes problems.

If ehqhelp is (presumably?) connected with the developer Keegan then the site itself could do with some general attention too. The use of English doesn't exactly inspire confidence and like me a lot of folks will be put off using it

Hi MidnightCowboy,
Sorry, are you saying that you would like the website to be in different languages? Any other input is very appreciated. Electronic Head Quarters is closed for a reform, and when it opens again (hopefully in December), it will be a whole new company (including a new website). If you would like it in different languages, which ones do you think would be the best?

Thanks.

No, not a different language, just a grammatical review of the one already there I never usually make a big thing about this because half the world who visit here don't have English as their first language and we always appreciate their efforts to contribute. That said, first impressions are always important when you open a site for the first time and yours does need some attention. I wish you well with the new format and look forward to seeing what arrives in December.

MC, on the main site you mentioned that you contacted the developer of Itz Browser, and he said that the browser is discontinued. Can you give more details on that?
