Hi... I am new here... nice site.

I search for one of my favorite freeware apps and could not find it.

It is called Dave's Quick Search Deskbar.

Not one of the commercial, resource-hogging horrors like Yahoo Toolbar

It does not attach to any browser.
It sits in your Taskbar like Windows Search--
but it's open-source/completely customizable.
Type in a search term --it opens the default Browser directly to the results page.
You can use any search engine(default is Google) and any browser. I use it with Firefox / WinXP SP3
Built in clock/calendar.

I have used it for years with great success... I have tweaked it so I can copy/paste text directly from web-pages. Saves tons of time and typing.
