has anyone heard of the freeware frostwire? I havent had the chance to check it out yet. But from what i was told its a alternative to spotify.
It lets you listen to any music and lets you download any song a provides a list to choose from if you want to download it for free or buy but you get to choose. But if it offers all the latest song for free isn't that illegal? If im right this is the first freeware i've come across that promotes illegal downloading. could someone check is this is righ for me

Frostwire is not really like spotify at all.
It is an offshoot of Limewire and, like Limewire, is a peer to peer (P2P) file sharing system for Gnutella and Bittorrent protocols. If you are unfamiliar with P2P, it basically is people sharing their music/videos etc. from their computer and the bandwidth is supplied by the users. Although there is some legal content distributed through Frostwire, the vast majority is illegally distributed. |
