I have come across it before, long ago, when it was just introduced. Looks good, and cool... and may appeal to many users. But, for me, its just another fancy software, which I can do without.

Available for Google Chrome too. Not really for those who are looking for information as its mainly eye candy and uses pictures in the search results.

I installed it in Firefox a while back just to try it out of curiosity. Personally I found it a bit laggy running on my system, and once the novelty wore off I found I just stopped using it.

Well Thank you all for your responses to this software. I recently came across it and installed the Firefox add on and thought it awesome. At least for me since I like eye candy things lol.

But you can go to the pages that you see the picture of. So it is not just picture things.

It is good to know what others think about this software. I like to get opinions when I come across software like this that I have not seen or heard of before. And I tried to find it at Gizmo's best software and could not. So I questioned it since I could not find it there. I trust you guys with the software you recommend and I have recommended this site to others.
If the software is on your list , then I know It is good and if I can't find it , then I wonder about it. Just like this one even though I like it at the moment , I wondered what you guys thought about it.

Again , thanks much.

PS Maybe I will get tired of it too at some point. When the eye candy wears off ?

I used it quite a bit when it was PicLens and FF was my browser of choice. Google Chrome since it came out has spoiled me for everything else with its speed and ease of use.

Currently Gizmo does have a Firefox add-on section (http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...ox-add-ons.htm), but it's still under contruction.

Personally, I find it as unneccessary eye candy as well. Still gonna use Firefox because of how easily customizable it is (not just add-ons, but bookmarklets, userscripts, userstyles, about:config, etc).

Google Chrome has Xmarks Thumbnails extension which will give thumbnail previews along with search results. Not exactly Cooliris, but still a preview.
