Default powerful free video converter

I have tried a new freeware iwisoft free video converter. http://www.easy-video-converter.com. It seems that it has powerful video/audio conversion and editing functions. But it's freeware.

what do you think of it?

I tried the Video Converter briefly. Looks very promising and when it does all the options promise it seems to be a on-stop-shop for conversion. That would be a winner for me. Will give it more tests when time allows...

I second that. It works on the formats I tried for conversion.

Other than the common video and audio formats, it also has grouped the output formats by devices. A pretty good idea. The output profile can also be preset and saved by the users after modifying the options for codec, size, frame rate, bitrate, aspect ratio for video, and codec, bitrate, channel, sample rate and volume for audio.

The included player with a snap feature is a plus.

Added in my freeware collection.

Great article, Jojoyee. Thank you!

I think this freeware is the best one I have tried. It helps me convert any video for my iPod 30gb and my iPhone!

I also use it to convert my video to hd flv video(.f4v) for uploading to youtube. And it enables me to add text as watermark on the video. so cool!
