Earlier I installed MPC Home Cinema player alone, which I think it lacks certain version of flash video codec, resulting some flv files failed to play. From the KLite codec pack which comes with the MPC Home Cinema player, a better result for me though.

If you chose the default settings then it might have installed a lot of things which you might not need, and will be extra, and will take up lot of space on your hard disk. But, if you are happy with that, and it serves your purpose, then its alright I guess. I am quite happy using a dedicated flv player to play flv files.

We had similar issue with a software earlier. We put up the offer for the general public, but later on we came to know from the software vendors, that... that offer was not meant for everyone, but only for the subscribers of the magazine, or something like that. I do not remember it correctly. One who does, might tell you more about it. Then we had to take the offer down, and had to explain about it to the visitors, and the vendor both. Had a hard time doing that. Since then, we here at TSA, have learned to be careful with what we offer to our visitors. I hope you appreciate that .

Anupam is right. There's nothing personal in any of this. If I came across a good screen capture program written by a Tibetan monk I'd want to include it, but we just can't unless what we are able to link visitors to is in English.
TSA has no commercial links or affiliations of any kind so we have no weight to throw around with developers who might need us for advertising purposes. Consequently, we rely 100% on good faith to attract the genuine great offers we've had recently such as Online Armor, Mamutu and others. If we were to continue posting links to offers we cannot verify the answer from these people next time we try our luck will be..... go away. It was a problem with a German offer website which nearly got us into trouble before so as Anupam says I hope you can appreciate where we are coming from with this.

I didn't get an answer yet (though yesterday gmx told me, that it wasn't able to send the email to them and that it will continue to try for 4 more days).
As I said earlier, that i think MPC (not MPC - HC)won't be developed any further: Guliverkli2 inactive by clsid2 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli2/) |
