Tune you guitar or other instrument

Use your computer as a guitar (or any instrument tuner).

I haven't done much of a search on this kind of thing, but http://www.nch.com.au/tuner/index.html

is a little free programme that tells you what note you are playing which makes tuning up very easy.

As you download it, it tries to get you to download other stuff (which may be quite good, I haven't tried it). Otherwise it seems pretty good. There is a pocket pc version too. If only they did one for my Nokia...
