Malwarebytes Antimalware version 1.60.0.1800 has been released.

This release is causing huge problems to many users on XP SP3. See this thread in the MBAM forum. Seems to affect users of ZoneAlarm.

My own experience was the computer hanging for no apparent reason after I logged in. I eventually guessed MBAM was to blame and had to resort to disabling MBAMService via the recovery console. I could then log in and uninstall the product. Other have achieved the same result via safe mode. I suspect many non-techies are still sitting looking at a "broken" computer without a clue as to what has gone wrong or how to fix it.
