Default Gizmo's Mentioned on Cnet

Gizmo's was today mentioned on a Cnet article 'How to secure your PC in 10 easy steps' http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-...10-easy-steps/

In particular the 'Brest Free File Encryption' utility is what they refer to, along with 'Best Free Secure Erase Utility' so well done Gizmo'sespecially philip and admrich.

PS. How do I get a link to come up as specific text? For example, I wanted the link to be shown as 'How to secure your PC in 10 easy steps' and when you click on it, it directs you to the link. Exactly how when you click on 'Tech Support Alert' in the Cnet article reffered to it takes you to the 'Brest Free File Encryption' article over here?

Write the text first that you want to link to. In your case, it would be "How to secure your PC in 10 easy steps". Select that text... then in the post window, you will see an icon with a globe and a chain link at its bottom, with the text "Insert link". Click that. Enter the link which you want to put there. That's it.

I prefer the link as shown in #1 above 'cos you know what you're clicking on & where it's taking you. Personally I always feel a bit wary when the method in #2 is used - unless I recognise the member posting (such as Anupam!!!)

Before clicking that type of link, I've got into the habit of always hovering the mouse over it first, so the browser's status bar displays where the link is actually pointing to.

Yep, that's what I do too.

Works both ways actually.. I also see who is posting the links, and if its not a straight link, I hover the mouse over the link, and check out the underlying link where it leads to.
