Default Avira 2012 and Comodo Internet Security

I just downloaded Avira free 2012 and tried to install it. It found an incompatibility with Comodo Internet Security. I have Avira 10 installed, and it has always worked perfectly with Comodo - I have Comodo firewall and Defense+,not the antivirus part. I have stopped Avira installation as I am not going to ditch Comodo. Anybody with a similar problem ? Is Avira 2012 suddenly incompatible with Comodo?

As a long time user of both Avira and Comodo I too came across this 'problem' when upgrading to Avira's version 12.

However, I disregarded what Avira's installer was telling me and have never had any conflict problems with Comodo before or since.

My advice would be to simply to upgrade and ignore the bleating Health and Safety warnings!

There's no incompatibility, just a scare tactic imo. I wonder how much they care about user security compared to market share.
