Avast or Avira?

That's a good thought. I had the system till yesterday, but not anymore. I installed Avast, and today I worked a bit on the computer, in their home, while installing browsers, and getting connected to the internet. The computer did feel a bit sluggish. Maybe Avira would have been better, as it will be lighter than Avast. Lets see, if I go again, and feel that the system is slow, might install Avira.

But, I chose Avast mainly because it will provide better protection, since the lady using the computer is a bit old. If I install Avira, then I will have to install AVG LinkScanner too, for protection from the web.

Anyways, the computer is an old one. With these modern software, which take up some amount of memory, its bound to be a bit sluggish, with 2-3 apps running at a time.
