Comodo are re-vamping their DNS service to include content filtering. Still in early beta they are experiencing the inevitable issues, some of which are highlighted here.
http://forums.comodo.com/beta-corner...-t75792.0.html Definitely a step in the right direction though for when they get it “finished” ![]() If anyone wants to compare the blossoming new service with their usual DNS provider, one way is to install Comodo Dragon. This has a feature (selectable at install) whereby you can use the Comodo's DNS service (but as yet not the new one) for all applications, none, or just Dragon. This means if you choose the Dragon only option, you don't have to change your hard coded DNS settings and can just switch to another browser to compare results. Note that the DNS selector box also needs ticking in the Dragon options after install.

i'll try dragon later this week if i have time but i use comodo's current dns and have been happy with it edit, found out it installs as portable dragon, i prefer portable programs so i'll be testing with that.

well so far i like dragon enough to replace chrome. the site inspector built into it is worth it for me, the DNS is a plus too.
the only downside to using it in browser is comodo doesn't have a test page... so I can't tell if it is working or not |

I like Dragon too, problem is for site work the WOT extension does not install. You can circumvent this to a certain extent by using the DuckDuckGo search engine which displays WOT ratings and installing this which displays an icon for the open site:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...ijcphappgcgjfn Still not as easy as having the full extension functionality, but enough for many.

I might be tempted as well
![]() Comodo has taken quite a bit of stick regarding the existing service, some of which is justified, so I'm sure they will be investing more resources into the new one to make it better.
