Default Recommended security setup for a netbook computer?

Hello there, I finally got a hold of a modern computer, that is, a computer at least manufactured last year.

It's an acer aspire one d255.

The firts thing I did was watch me some pr0n (of course). Then I uninstalled the default mcafee antivirus it came with, and installed microsoft security essentials right after. However, I feel incomplete. What do you suggest I install next?

And if you can suggest me some tips to optimize my netbook performance it would be swell.

I already deactivated most services and start up programs. MS Security is running at background as I write this.

hm, so it has windows vista/7?

I'd say with windows firewall and MSE you should be safe

vista/7 come with windows defender for antispyware with no way to remove it :S so might as well use it lol

You might want to add WinPatrolFree. It's a nice addition.

I would add SandBoxie, WOT, ClearCloud DNS, Malwarebytes, Htiman Pro, SUPERAntiSpyware, and maybe EMET.

@eyeb: Windows Defender should remain disabled, because MSE includes the same definitions.
