yeah but I had links to "trials" removed in past... I made sure the link was to a freeware. It is "older" but main functions are same

eyeb, if a software has a free version, then its OK to post link for the page where the free version is being offered. We have objections only when the software has no free version, but is only trial/commercial. We of course cannot allow that

after using it for a day, I've found I prefer the old 1.2 to the current 2.2.

1.2 uses less resources so it's lighter and unless the trial is different than the paid version of 2.2, most of the improvements to 1.2 is still in development so it doesn't seem like 2.2 actually offers anything new aside from an internet mode which I don't use anyways.
