Geswall 2.9.1-released

The update fixes number of issues with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome browsers and integrates extended license for GeSWall Freeware.

64-bit version GeSWall is on the way and will be released for beta-testing soon.

Great news. I never use it before but I know that its a solid program.
People that don't like SBIE should give this a GO.

The only problem i had with Geswall is that it slowed down dramatically my boot time and shut down. This didn't happened at once but during time. But maybe there was a conflict with something else in my system and was happening only to me. So if you notice something similar, please let us know

Well, I had a worse problem. When I run Geswall along with Private Firewall I cannot connect to the internect. Now if I disable PFW I can connect with Geswall. If I reactivate PWF and disable Geswall, I still cannot connect. If I uninstall Geswall then I can connect to the internet using PFW. So I have a choice, either Geswall or PFW. This happens using either firefox or internet explorer. I am going to uninstall Geswall and use PFW along with avast internet security (which I won ). If I want to use virtualization I will use Time Freeze. The latter 3 work well together. I also let MC know about this problem with Geswall. As far as the boot time I didn't notice any slow down but I think the above is a more serious problem. Meanwhile I will have to update my "Latest Security Setup" minus Geswall.

I just saw your security setup. You used at the same time Geswall, DropMyRights and Avast's sandbox?

So, what do you want the suite for? The free Avast is all that you need, i think.
And about your conflict between Geswall and Private Firewall, i think it happens because of the hips component of PFW. If there is a way to disable it (the hips in PFW) maybe you could use it together

The only reason I am using the suite is because I won it. Never cost me a time. Now if I wouldn't have won it in the this December contest then yes, definitely I would use the free version Maybe I could use Sandboxie but would I have to be in the CIA ? Anyway I am still trying out different combinations to see if I can get Geswall to click with what I have. Stay tuned.
