I have been using the latest beta of ThreatFire for the past few days and it seems pretty much 'business as usual'.
The change log is as follows: • Improved detection in x64 operating systems (Vista and Windows 7) • More robust integration • Improved socialization • Fixed issues with WinDVD • Updated language files • Internal bug fixes In order to try the beta you need to first register over at: http://www.pctools.com/forum//user/register Enjoy!

do you know how this compares to immunet? i know they arent the same but both try to prevent day 0 infections and work with second scanners.
I keep thinking about trying these addons to avira but can't decide which ones to keep. I've used both and both seem to add no benefits but if I had to keep one, which would people prefer? |

because its another layer. I would not add Immunet to use with Avira but definitely will feel more protected by adding Threatfire even though is old. Bo |

I would agree with Bo too. At this stage Threatfire is the more proven tool of the two. Threatfire needs a well maintained system to work well in without conflicts but you'll know soon enough if it doesn't like yours for one reason or another
